How Strike ranks

Five independent facts in a fixed order. No total, no score. A card sits where its rungs put it.

Two questions, five rungs

Can I act? Window and Tradability are gates: if the window is closed or the market does not clear the floor, the rest is context, not a trade. Should I care? Money, Participants and Exposure are evidence: a situation can stay interesting with one of them temporarily weak. The grouping is a reading aid; nothing is weighted or summed.

The read

Six readings of the ladder, first match wins: watch only (cap above the bands), late (window failed), deteriorating (exposure failed, or money failed with the latest interval net out after an earlier one net in), insufficient evidence (two or more evidence rungs unchecked), potentially actionable (all five cleared), wait for confirmation (gates clear, evidence incomplete). Each carries the deciding rung's reason. A read is not a recommendation and never says buy or sell.

Unknown handling

Unknown is a third state. It is drawn as a grey hatch, never as a zero and never as a failure. Each unknown carries the reason it is unknown. A card with unknowns ranks by the rungs it did clear; unknowns are neither added nor subtracted.

Order and tie-breaking

Rungs cleared, descending. Ties: flow acceleration over the last three cap-scaled intervals, descending; then the more recent material change. Watch-only situations (cap above $10M) never enter the ranked grid; they sit in the strip below it.
